Octane-C and CA

One Footprint. Two Options.

Octane®-C and CA give surgeons intra-operative flexibility in choosing between a barium sulfate PEEK or an allograft in the same footprint. The open design of the implants feature built-in lordosis to conform to the patient’s anatomy, angular teeth to resist migration and a chamfered nose to simplify insertion. The unique dovetail connection between the Inserter and the implant provides a large impact area, minimizing risk of damage to the implant.

Octane-C and CA

Octane-C

  • Manufactured from PEEK-OPTIMA® infused with six percent barium sulfate, which allows for the implant to show up on X-ray and fluoroscopy
  • Tantalum markers verify accurate device placement
  • Open-fenestrated design increases area to facilitate pre-packing of bone graft and encourage bony ingrowth
  • Sterile packaged.

Octane-CA

  • Sterile, freeze dried allografts
  • Donor tissue is obtained from tissue banks that are accredited by the AATB and that are registered with the FDA
  • Utilizes the same instrumentation as Octane-C
  • Large impact area reduces the possibility of implant fracture during insertion.
