AcuMatch® M-Series Modular Femoral Stem
An Accurate Match Every Time
Exactech’s AcuMatch® M-Series Modular Femoral Stem is the answer for your most difficult situations. It uncouples offset and leg length, providing surgeons a unique way to restore joint stability in complex total hip arthroplasty.

- Neck cross section maximizes range of motion while maintaining strength.
- While morse tapers lock the stem, metaphysis and neck segment together, a locking screw is used to provide a secondary source of locking stability between the components.
- High and low offset necks predictably restore normal anatomy.
Multiple vertical height options provide for proper leg length adjustment. 360-degree version capabilities allow for optimized position of the neck segment independent of the metaphyseal and stem segments. - Multiple diameters and flare sizes of the metaphyseal segment allow maximum fixation in the area of best bone. All components are 100 percent interchangeable, resulting in the ability to effectively treat situations of proximal/distal femoral mismatch.
- Low Plasticity Burnishing (LPB) increases fatigue strength of neck segment by more than 30 percent.
Independent fatigue testing, conducted using a three-point fatigue test, was performed at the Orthopaedic Research Laboratory in Cleveland, Ohio. A fatigue curve was developed and defined an endurance limit of approximately 1400 lbs., or 8.5 times body weight (see graph).
- Sharp
flutes provide a solid fit in the canal, resulting in rotational
stability. Coronal slot and patented distal tip geometry on the stem
segment reduces stress concentration at the distal stem and bone
interface, which has been shown to reduce the incidence of thigh pain.
Forged titanium material more closely matches the modulus of elasticity of bone.
