The Novation® Cemented Femoral Stems are designed to utilize the same instruments used with the Tapered & Splined preparation. This allows for simple preparation and ease of intra-operative transition to a cemented stem should the need arise.

1. Neck cross section maximizes range of motion while maintaining strength.
2. Polished neck maximizes strength in the high stress area.
3. Cobra flange enhances stem stability and cement pressurization.
4. Collar enhances cement pressurization and stress transmission to medial femoral neck.
5. Cement groove minimizes compression and tensile stresses in cement.
6. Forged cobalt chrome maximizes fatigue strength.
7. Distal PMMA centralizer ensures consistent cement mantle.
