AcuMatch® L-Series Femoral Stems

An Accurate Match Every Time

The AcuMatch® L-Series stems and endoprostheses provide the orthopaedic surgeon with several treatment options, including: cemented stems, press-fit stems, unipolar endoprosthesis and bipolar endoprosthesis. The AcuMatch L-Series cemented and press-fit stems are implanted using the same core set of instruments. The integrated broach system is designed to accurately prepare the femoral canal for optimal stem stability.

Cemented Stems

  1. Cobra flange enhances stem stability and cement pressurization
  2. Collar enhances cement pressurization and ensures stress transmission to the medial femoral neck
  3. Cement groove minimizes compression and tensile stresses in cement
  4. Forged cobalt chrome for maximum fatigue strength
  5. Distal cement centralizers properly center the stem in the femoral canal to ensure a uniform cement mantle around the prosthesis

Press-Fit Stems

  1. Forged titanium alloy material provides maximum fatigue strength
  2. Corundum titanium surface optimizes bone ongrowth and long-term stem stability
  3. Patented distal tip provides a smooth, uniform transfer of stress resulting in a low incidence of thigh pain
