AcuMatch® A-Series

An Accurate Match Every Time

The AcuMatch® A-Series acetabular shell and liner were developed using elements of design seen in the clinically successful Exactech MCS system. In the AcuMatch design, Exactech achieves the delicate balance of biocompatibility, longevity and flexibility.

AcuMatch A-Series

  1. Peripheral tabs are spaced every 30 degrees for maximum stability, allowing for flexibility in anatomical placement of the liner
  2. Exactech’s compression molded polyethylene has demonstrated excellent wear characteristics. Two types of polyethylene are offered including standard A-Series and cross-linked Connexion GXL®. Minimum polyethylene thickness on standard liners is 6.3mm, well above the industry standard1
  3. Shell/liner locking mechanism allows the liner to resist axial and transverse forces and also minimizes micromotion by providing a secure point of stabilization2,3
  4. Shell/liner congruency provides minimum micromotion, reducing the potential for foreign particle generation
  5. Porous sintered beads.  Hydroxyapatite coating over sintered beads also is an option

Note: AcuMatch® A-Series constrained liner and ring available
