InterSpace® Hip, the first pre-formed temporary hip spacer with gentamicin for two-stage revision arthroplasty, is designed to temporarily replace a total hip arthroplasty (THA) when the implant is removed as a result of infection. InterSpace Hip is a partial load-bearing structure consisting of gentamicin-impregnated Cemex® PMMA bone cement molded onto a stainless steel reinforcing core.
