Bone Cement With Gentamicin
- Gentamicin 2.5 percent (anhydrous base)
- Solutions for multiple indications and preferences
- Self-contained mixing and delivery system and hand-mix options available
Hand-Mix Options
- Cemex® XL – extra-low viscosity hand-mix cement
- Cemex® RX – low/medium viscosity available with or without gentamicin
- Cemex® ISOPLASTIC – high viscosity available in 20mg and 40mg, with or without gentamicin
Unique Powder-To-Liquid Ratio Delivers:
- Low Monomer – Cemex® Genta’s unique low monomer formulation exposes the patient and medical professionals to less monomer than traditional 2:1 bone cement systems.
- Less Heat – The amount of heat released during polymerization (setting) is directly proportional to the amount of monomer used. Cemex Genta’s reduced monomer results in less heat, minimizing the potential for thermal necrosis.
- Less Shrinkage – During polymerization, contraction or “shrinkage” of bone cement naturally occurs. Cemex Genta's reduced monomer results in shrinkage that is two-thirds less than traditional bone cement.
