Founded by an orthopaedic surgeon and a biomedical engineer in November 1985, Exactech, Inc. is an orthopaedic company that develops, manufactures, markets, distributes and sells orthopaedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation and biologic services to hospitals and physicians in the United States and internationally. Exactech’s revenues are principally derived from sales and distribution of its joint replacement systems, including knee, shoulder, and hip implant systems, and distribution of biologic allograft services and bone cement materials used in orthopaedic surgery. We have built our success on our customer-centric culture. Feedback and input from our surgeon customers have helped us develop a pipeline of innovative products that improve patient outcomes.
