Minimum Requirements for Fulfilling Team Role

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience

• Ten years of experience in orthopaedic distribution and sales management

Other

• Understanding of general orthopedics.
• Ability to interact with surgeons and sales personnel.
• Applied experience in startup and management of distribution operations

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

1. Analysis, recruitment and management of distribution personnel
2. Recruitment, negotiation and management of sales representative personnel
3. Review and management of sales commissions with Director of Finance and Accounting to be executed from corporate office
4. Evaluation and management of implant and instrument logistics: delivery, service or runners, field inventory turns, inventory reconciliation, territory accounts receivable, inventory recalls and withdrawals
5. Manage territory sales growth and target growth accounts
6. Manage territory sales and marketing strategies: account and product targeting, residency and fellowship programs, local shows and meetings, coordination of visitors to territory, facilitating corporate support
7. Coordinate sales reporting with corporate office and review with personnel
8. Manage territory contribution margin performance and evaluation
9. Manage territory profitability.
10. Ensure that Exactech is in compliance with regulations (e.g., QSR, CMDR and MDD), standards (e.g., ISO 13485) and the Quality Management System Manual.
11. Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
