Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Coordinate and direct strategic planning and initiatives for all the product groups and marketing communication with a long-term global outlook.
- Review yearly team accountability plans to support company objectives.
- Coach and lead the development of director level employees and support them in the execution of their duties.
- Provide marketing leadership in the identification, evaluation and prioritization of new technologies and possible strategic opportunities applicable to product area.
- Balance and prioritize the life cycle of existing and new implants and instruments to appropriately distribute resources and personnel.
- Direct the description, evaluation, pricing strategy and introduction of new products.
- Provide marketing leadership in a collaborative effort with Engineering and Development, Research and Production teams in the development of new products.
- Provide business leadership to make sound financial decisions for all product lines.
- Develop working relations with leading orthopaedic surgeons to ensure ongoing collaboration, product development and product improvement feedback while abiding by the Exactech Code of Ethics and all applicable legal guidelines.
- Review market and competitive analysis with the sales force.
- Review the sales forecast to determine organizational objectives.
- Manage the development of marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and sales forecasts.
- Direct the design and implementation of the annual product marketing plan for the marketing department for all product lines.
- Provide business leadership to make sound financial decisions within the marketing team and the business unit.
- Participate in the strategic planning, discussions and implementation for the company to achieve its goals and vision.
- Plan, develop and establish policies and objectives of the marketing function in accordance with strategic objectives of the company.
- Provide leadership for coordination and collaboration between the sales organization and marketing.
- Develop and administer annual marketing budget and maintain 18 to 24 month planning horizon related to staffing and major anticipated resource requirements
- In concert with human resources, administer personnel functions, including salary classification, performance review, and mentoring of company sales and support staff.
- Establish corporate and brand presence utilizing web-based applications.
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
- Assist and support other employees, teams and sales personnel as necessary.
