Minimum Requirements for Fulfilling Team Role

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Skilled finisher demonstrating five to seven years experience
• Experience with cobalt chrome, titanium and polyethylene product preferred
• Experience with high polish, blast finishes and burring of metal components

Other

• Ability to set-up job, inspect and trouble shoot
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to inspect and measure own work; self-inspection required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent quality awareness.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Ability to create and/or form wheels as needed.
• Help develop finishing processes and work instructions.
• Hand Polishing of the following:
  Fin Trays
  Stem Extensions
  MOMB Trays
  Metaphyseals
  Stems (C-Series, L-Series, M-Series, P-Series, and Novation)
  Femorals
• Deburring plastic, cleaning, passivation, masking, blasting and mass finishing operations.
  Burr Inserts, Patella and Tibial Plugs
  Ultrasonic Clean Plastic
  Ultrasonic Clean and Passivate Metal products
  Masking of Fin Trays, Hip Stems and Femorals
  Blasting of Fin Trays, Hip Stems, Stem Extensions and Femorals
  All Processes related to the High Energy Tumbler

1. Meet all regulatory requirements including but not limited to FDA and ISO.
2. Understand and follow all departmental SOPs. Document and report any process deviations to team leader.
3. Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
4. Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
5. Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
